Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 2026. This page explains how and why cookies and similar browser storage mechanisms are used on the Corion website.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites function correctly and to provide a more consistent browsing experience. Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies), while others remain on your device for a defined period (persistent cookies).
In addition to cookies, websites may use other browser storage mechanisms such as localStorage and sessionStorage. These operate similarly to cookies in that they store small pieces of data locally on your device, but they are managed differently and are not transmitted with every HTTP request.
2. How Corion Uses Cookies and Local Storage
The Corion website operates as a static informational resource. We use the absolute minimum amount of browser-side storage necessary for the site to function correctly. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any technology intended to identify or profile individual users.
The only storage we use is described in full below.
Consent Preference Storage
When you interact with the cookie consent banner displayed at the bottom of each page, your choice (Accept or Decline) is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key corion_cookie_consent. This prevents the banner from reappearing on every page you visit. No personal data is stored; only the string value of your preference ("accepted" or "declined") is saved.
This storage item is strictly functional and does not transmit any information to our servers or any third party.
3. Cookie Types Table
The table below provides a complete inventory of storage items used by this Site.
| Name / Key | Type | Purpose | Duration | Third Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
corion_cookie_consent |
localStorage | Stores your cookie banner preference (Accept or Decline) so the banner does not reappear | Persistent until cleared | No |
That is the complete list. No other cookies, tracking pixels, web beacons, fingerprinting scripts, or similar technologies are deployed on this Site.
4. Google Fonts
This Site loads web fonts from Google Fonts using a CSS @import statement. When your browser loads the stylesheet, it connects to Google's font servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). This connection may result in Google receiving your IP address and browser information as a standard HTTP request. Google may store a cookie or caching entry for the fonts on your device.
Google Fonts operates under Google's own privacy policy, which can be reviewed at policies.google.com/privacy. We use Google Fonts solely for presenting this Site in a readable, well-designed format. No information is shared with Google by Corion as a result of this connection.
If you prefer to prevent this connection, you may use a browser-level content blocker or a font-blocking extension. The Site will remain fully functional using your device's default system fonts if the Google Fonts request is blocked.
5. No Advertising or Analytics Technologies
Corion does not use any advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or analytics platforms. This includes but is not limited to: Google Analytics, Google Ads remarketing tags, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any equivalent service. We have no commercial relationship with any advertising technology provider.
6. Managing Your Cookie Settings
You have full control over cookies and local storage through your browser settings. The steps vary by browser, but most modern browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies and local storage on a per-site basis. Below are general guidance links for major browsers commonly used in Indonesia:
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies
- Safari (iOS/macOS): Settings > Safari > Privacy & Security
- Samsung Internet: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and site data
To remove the Corion consent preference specifically, you can open your browser's developer tools, navigate to the Application or Storage tab, select "Local Storage" for the Corion domain, and delete the corion_cookie_consent entry.
7. Your Consent
By clicking "Accept" on the cookie consent banner, you acknowledge that you have read this Cookie Policy and consent to the minimal browser storage described above. By clicking "Decline," your preference is still stored locally to prevent the banner from reappearing, but this record reflects your choice and no other storage is activated.
As the only storage mechanism in use is a consent preference record and an optional font cache managed by Google, declining does not functionally limit your access to any content on this Site.
8. Updates to This Policy
We may revise this Cookie Policy if our use of browser storage changes. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Any changes will be made in a manner consistent with the principle of minimal data storage.
